Van Raam Easy Rider tricycle best tested by Fietsersbond
The Van Raam Easy Rider tricycle was tested as best by the Dutch cycling association 'Fietsersbond'. The Easy Sport recumbent tricycle was also included in this test. Read more and view the test results here.
Easy Rider tricycle best tested
The Fietsersbond tested several tricycles, including the Van Raam Easy Rider seated tricycle and the Van Raam Easy Sport recumbent tricycle. In this test, the Easy Rider emerged as the best tested. The Fietsersbond indicates that the Easy Rider particularly stood out because of the very good seating comfort, the very good and stable ride and steering behaviour and the fine and powerful support that offers extra options.

Advantages of the Easy Rider tricycle that have emerged from the test include:
- Very good seating that provides great support for the lower back
- Comfortable seating position
- Good brakes
- Good chain protection due to chain tube
The bike steers very lightly and rides very stable. You can steer effortlessly with one hand.
FietsersbondEasy Sport recumbent tricycle tested by Fietsersbond
The Easy Sport recumbent tricycle was also included in this test by the Fietsersbond. The test showed that the Easy Sport particularly stood out for its sporty seating position and good pedal support thanks to the front-wheel motor with rotation sensor.
In addition to Van Raam's Easy Rider and Easy Sport, the Hase Lepus, Nijland Singly, Huka Cortes and Tomcat Silver Bullet seated tricycles were also tested.

Easy Rider in E-bike Special Fietsersbond
The Easy Rider tricycle is also featured in the E-bike Special 2023 by the Fietsersbond. In the special, the Fietsersbond states that many people choose a tricycle like the Easy Rider only when they can no longer ride a standard two-wheeler. However, even for fit cyclists, the Easy Rider is a fantastic, comfortable, and stable bike. The Fietsersbond also refers to the tricycles they have previously tested, with the Easy Rider coming out as the top performer in the test.
Easy Rider seated tricycle
The Easy Rider is a seated tricycle with 2 wheels at the back and 1 wheel at the front. The position of the handlebars means less burden on your back, neck, shoulders and wrists. Together with the special seating, this creates an ergonomic cycling position that makes cycling very comfortable. Due to the frame, it is easy to get on and the centre of gravity is lower. This makes the bike very stable.

Van Raam Easy Sport recumbent tricycle
The Easy Sport is a recumbent tricycle in Van Raam's range. The under-seat steering is next to the seat, so the cyclist has much less burden on the shoulders, back, neck and wrists. It is a sporty bike which can also be used for recreational cycling.
