The vanRaam Midi is a traditional tricycle designed for children aged around eight and over, and for smaller adults who need a compact, well-proportioned frame. Modern in design, smooth to ride, and available in multiple frame heights to get the fit right.
Sized to fit, built to last: the vanRaam Midi
The Midi bike uses a traditional layout with one wheel at the front and two at the rear, giving it excellent stability and the familiar upright riding position that most cyclists already know. A high seating position gives a clear view of the surroundings, and the parking brake makes getting on and off safe and easy.
Three frame heights are available — 31cm, 41cm (standard), and 49cm — suitable for riders with an inseam of 66cm to 80cm. Compact enough to fit through a standard doorway.
Easy to ride from day one
Three wheels keep this vanRaam trike stable at all times, making it a natural choice for anyone who needs extra support or confidence. The design is modern and well-finished, with a sturdy build that holds up to regular use.
Intelligent assistance built in
The Midi is available with vanRaam's Silent System electric pedal assist, making longer rides easier and hillier terrain more manageable. Includes start assist for confident pull-aways and the ability to reverse with the assist engaged.

Marja used to have a serious car accident. Because of this her foot had to be reattached to her leg and she could no longer cycle. Recently she was interviewed by Welzorg, how is she doing now? Read and watch the interview (video) here.
vanRaam has its own electric pedal assist system, known as the Silent System. This system has been fully developed by vanRaam, specifically for the special needs bikes.
An one-hand-operated lock is easy for people who can use only one arm or hand. This also provides a solution for individuals with balance problems, as they can lock the bike with one hand.
